We spent conference weekend doing our annual leaf drive. We began going through Logan canyon, had a picnic on the beach at Bear Lake. It was super cold at the beach and we were the only people there, but it made it easier to convince the kids that we were supposed to be listening to conference. After lunch, we went on through Randolph then headed up to MonteCristo. After playing in the snow at MonteCristo (yes, the leaves were long gone) we dropped down into Eden and over the Ogden pass into North Ogden and home through Sardine canyon. The sun was just setting in Sardine and the leaves were gorgeous, so we got up the next morning and watched the sun rise. It's been a beautiful fall with the reds and yellows so deep in color.
That looks so pretty! Our leaves have just barely started to show some color. I can't believe you have snow already. Because we're having a bit of a drought out here, a lot of the leaves just seem to be dying and falling off the trees. They said Fall this year won't be as pretty as usual.

Agreed - what beautiful pictures. I keep forgetting how picturesque the mountains are.
